How to order a book

Still next day posting during the
current coronavirus pandemic

To purchase Scotland’s Winter Mountains with one axe or North Wales Scrambles, simply click on the relevant ‘buy now’ button. A secure Paypal checkout accepts both debit and credit cards as well as Paypal payments.

Scotland’s Winter Mountains with one axe    £22.75

North Wales Scrambles – new 2nd edition    £21.55

The cost of either book is £20. The prices shown above include postage and packing (slightly different for each book due to their size).

All orders are posted the next working day using 1st class Royal Mail.

Scotland’s Winter Mountains with one axe will be delivered inside a recyclable cardboard protective cover. North Wales Scrambles will be posted inside a waterproof padded envelope. Both are slim enough to fit through an average-sized letter box.

Delivery overseas…

If you are ordering from outside the UK, please send a message via the contact page saying which country you’d like your book delivered to. I’ll get back to you straight away with a revised delivery cost. I’m happy to post anywhere. So far books have been sent as far afield as Canada, Switzerland, the Nederlands, Germany and Finland… all have arrived safely, usually within five days.

Ordering more than one book…

If you purchase more than one book, the above postage costs will still apply. Weirdly it’s more efficient to wrap and send books individually, so that they remain within the Royal Mail’s ‘small parcel’ price category, and more importantly they still fit through your letter box.

If a book turns out to be, well, just not your thing, send it back and get an immediate refund.
